TITLE: Gymnastics Director
REPORTS TO: Board of Directors HOURS: 40 per week
Summary: The Gym Director works with the Program Directors to provide leadership in establishing instructional and competitive programs in gymnastics that emphasize a safe, positive environment for the development of skill and self-confidence for Community youth.

Requirements:
- Qualified candidate must have or be willing to obtain USAG Membership with all required trainings complete including: Safety Certification, Background Check, US Center for Safe Sport, Tough Coaching or Emotional Abuse, Safe Sport Policy, and Concussion Education Course;
- Qualified candidate must be at least 21 years of age with at least 5 years of supervisory and leadership experience in a competitive & developmental gymnastics program.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred;
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication and administrative skills to include knowledge in Google Office Suite and Gymnastics Registration Platforms.
- Must possess and maintain CPR and First Aid Certifications as well as Child Abuse Training within six months of employment;
- Must have previous experience in working with children of all ages.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the vision, development, and execution of a high-level competitive gymnastics program;
- Will have Coaching Responsibilities including coaching level 3-10 gymnasts,
- Manage the Program Managers for all department daily operations and member communications;
- Work closely with the Program Managers & Administrative Assistant to accurately and efficiently execute customer transactions, registrations, and payments for gymnastics teams;
- Manage and coordinate all competitive and non-competitive gymnastics programming;
- Manage the recreational and competitive gymnastics at NGC including special events, fundraisers, team programs, and coaches training;
- Responsible for developing an annual plan to increase enrollment of classes and team while achieving more presence in the community;
- Assist in the design and coordinate competition and retail apparel for all athletes and family;
- Responsible for designing a master schedule for the gymnastics center that will serve all program areas and maximize utilization of the space;
- Responsible for recruiting, retaining and supervising high quality staff; develop and implement training to coaches, mentoring and coaching to staff in order to deliver a high quality program focused on developing excellent gymnastics skills with the NGC mission;
- Responsible for organizing financials, insurance compliance and working with NGC attorneys & insurance companies to ensure NGC meets all legal obligations.
- Consistently evaluate our current offerings and find ways to improve them;
- Ensure quality athlete services to our members;
- Manage the budget for each program within NGC and make quarterly reports to the Board of Directors;
- Perform employee evaluations annually;
- Assist in completing by-weekly payroll for NGC;
- Conduct regular staff & supervisory meetings;
- Responsible for the development for all lesson plans in accordance to proper progressions of gymnastics
- Maintain the highest safety standards consistent with NGC and Industry wide Safety Standards;
- Ensure the safety of members and staff through the proper implementation and administration of Risk Management policies;
- Understand the NGC culture, Character Development values and implement them in the department and daily activities
- Continuously Develop new ways to bring in additional sources of revenue to NGC;
- Implement Evaluation of programs/instructors and member satisfaction surveys.
- Responsible for reporting to the Board of Directors regularly about program updates and financial status.
- Develops short- and long-range goals and objectives for upcoming season, and innovates by researching gymnastics & fitness industry for new ideas, programs and activities to implement
