We're growing and looking for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and helping homeowners bring their remodeling dreams to life.
This is not a retail sales role. This is a consultative, relationship-driven position where you'll guide clients through one of the biggest investments they'll make in their home.
Position Overview
The Kitchen & Bath Remodeling Sales Consultant serves as the primary client advisor throughout the remodeling journey. You will qualify leads, conduct discovery meetings, understand client goals and challenges, collaborate with our design and production teams, and present customized remodeling solutions that meet each client's needs.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional who understands remodeling, excels at relationship-building, is comfortable discussing project budgets, and has the ability to confidently close business.
You'll work closely with our in-house designer and production team to ensure every proposal is accurate, complete, and aligned with the client's vision.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Development
- Respond to and follow up on inbound leads
- Conduct qualification calls and initial consultations
- Lead discovery meetings with prospective remodeling clients
- Identify client goals, needs, challenges, budgets, and priorities
- Guide homeowners through the remodeling process from first contact through contract signing
- Present project proposals and investment options
- Follow a structured consultative sales process
- Build trust and rapport with homeowners
- Generate referrals and repeat business
- Maintain accurate CRM records and client communications
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and community outreach opportunities
- Present educational remodeling seminars and workshops for homeowners, (Quarterly)
Project Development & Coordination
- Collaborate closely with the design team to communicate client wants, needs, and must-have features
- Work alongside estimators and production staff to ensure project scopes and budgets are accurate
- Participate in sales-to-production handoff meetings
- Review proposals for accuracy before presentation
- Help ensure projects are aligned with client expectations before construction begins
Field Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits when needed
- Gather project information and verify conditions
- Meet homeowners at project locations
- Assist with product selections and showroom consultations
Design Center & Administrative Support
- Maintain a professional and organized design center environment
- Assist with displaying, organizing, and maintaining product samples and materials
- Support client meeting preparation and follow-up activities
- Complete basic office and administrative tasks as required
What You Bring to the Table
Required Qualifications (must haves)
- 3-5+ years of kitchen, bath, remodeling, or residential construction sales experience
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Strong closing skills and confidence discussing project investments
- Consultative selling
- Experience conducting consultation-based sales meetings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable presenting to individuals, couples, and groups
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
- Ability to work within established systems and processes
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must live in the Lake Norman or surrounding area (no relocation)
Industry Experience We Value (nice to have)
- Experience in kitchen and bath remodeling sales
- Understanding of residential construction practices
- Familiarity with remodeling projects and trade coordination
