We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support our client in Retirement homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including clinics, trauma centers, and geriatrics, and will be committed to delivering high-quality care. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document care provided and any observations regarding client conditions.

Skills

• Familiarity with emergency medicine practices is beneficial.
