Technical Supervisor – AI Server Repair

Pay: $60k –$65k per year, based on experience
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

VSSI Staffing is seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to lead a team of repair technicians within a fast-paced AI Server Repair Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with experience in electronics, server repair, technical repair, or manufacturing.

In this role, you will oversee daily repair operations, support and develop technicians, monitor performance goals, and ensure repairs are completed efficiently and meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who can motivate a team, improve processes, and maintain excellent customer service.

Available Schedules:

Workdays:

• Thursday–Sunday
• Saturday–Tuesday

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–2:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of electronics and AI server repair technicians
• Monitor daily productivity, repair turnaround times, KPIs, and customer SLA performance
• Train, coach, and develop technicians to improve quality and productivity
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments to resolve technical concerns
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee development
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, ISO standards, SOPs, and company procedures
• Maintain inventory accuracy and an organized workflow throughout the repair department
• Promote a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment

Required Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in electronics, server repair, manufacturing, or a technical repair environment
• Experience with technical or electronics troubleshooting
• Proven ability to lead and motivate employees in a production or repair setting
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI servers, computers, or electronics repair
• Familiarity with ISO documentation and standard operating procedures
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
