The Host/Hostess plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere by managing seating and assisting customers efficiently. Working within a small team of 1-3 hosts, this role reports directly to the Restaurant Manager and primarily operates during weekends and holidays. The position involves mostly face-to-face communication, ensuring guests receive attentive and friendly service from the moment they enter.
Responsibilities
- Manage seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Assist customers promptly with inquiries and special requests
- Collaborate closely with a small host team to maintain smooth operations
- Directly report to the Restaurant Manager regarding daily activities
- Communicate effectively in-person with customers and team members
- Work predominantly on weekends and holidays to support peak times
