Production & Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Spring Hill, TN
Compensation: Up to $50 an hour, depending on experience and qualifications
About the Opportunity
[Confidential] is seeking experienced and motivated Production & Maintenance Supervisors to support manufacturing operations in Spring Hill, Tennessee. This leadership role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement while ensuring operational goals are achieved. The ideal candidate will have experience leading hourly teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and a passion for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze production and maintenance data to drive operational improvements.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or similar methodologies preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and employee development practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive, heavy manufacturing, or high-volume production experience.
- Union experience highly preferred!
- Military background
- Experience leading union or large hourly workforces.
- Knowledge of TPM, preventive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Six Sigma, Lean, or continuous improvement certifications are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Production Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop hourly production team members.
- Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance objectives.
- Monitor daily production metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Coordinate staffing, training, and work assignments to meet operational requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Maintenance Leadership
- Supervise skilled trades and maintenance personnel in support of manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
- Prioritize maintenance work orders and allocate resources effectively.
- Support reliability improvement initiatives and root cause problem solving.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with all safety and environmental requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve equipment performance.
