Behavioral Health Care Therapist
Position Overview
The Behavioral Health Care Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality behavioral health services to patients in the clinic setting. As a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team, the Therapist provides care within the scope of LCSW or LPC licensure, offering compassionate and recovery-focused treatment to individuals and families.
This role includes conducting psychosocial and behavioral health assessments, developing and monitoring treatment plans, and providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions. The Therapist also offers crisis intervention, health education, and counseling while ensuring accurate and timely clinical documentation.
In addition, the Behavioral Health Care Therapist collaborates closely with medical providers, community resources, and patient families to address social, emotional, and environmental concerns that impact health outcomes. By serving as both a clinician and resource, the Therapist promotes patient-centered care, supports positive behavioral change, and contributes to the overall well-being of patients and the community.
