PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move heavy objects. The employee may be required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The Manual Machinist will be capable of working well as a part of a team. With demonstrable understanding of machinery, cutter lifetimes, and material parameters, capable of operating lathes and or mills as well as loading and unloading from work holding. Must be able to stand 8 hours a day and lift 50 lbs un-assisted as well as adhering to strict process documentation and quality documentation.
