We are seeking a Dump Truck Driver - Class A CDL to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Knowledge of how to operate heavy equipment a big plus (loader, excavator, backhoe)
Pay rate starts at $27.00 per hour with the opportunity to earn $40+ per hour on prevailing wage jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a single, double, and/or tri-axle dump truck
- Deliver materials to job site
- Dispose of job site materials from demo or excavation
- Load and move heavy equipment to job sites
- Assist on job site as needed
- Operate equipment if qualified
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Commercial driver's license
- Knowledge of securing loads and/or equipment on trailer
- Operate manual transmission
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
