We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, detail-orientated veterinary assistant to join our team. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8a-5p. A typical work week for full-time veterinary assistants is 4 weekdays with the same weekday off each week (34+ hours a week).

Experience with cats and dogs is required.

Experience with large animal is preferred, but not required.

Duties include, but are not limited to: obtaining patient history, educating clients, restraint of animals, vaccine prep, injections (IM, SQ, and IV), performing diagnostic testing, performing diagnostic imaging (radiographs), using veterinary software to enter information, assisting and collaborating with all other veterinary staff, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Physical demands required: must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted, capable of being on feet for extended periods of time, and able to restrain animals of all sizes.

Compensation will be based on experience in the veterinary field.
