We are looking for a highly reliable, hard worker and eager WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager in the day to day operations. This is a full time position located in Avondale, Arizona.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Move inventory and materials across facilities
• Process inventory for delivery
• Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location
• Package items and label correctly
• Scan delivered items and ensured quality
• Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
• Stack and organize large bulk items
• Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location
• Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
• Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations
• Always wear safety gear
• Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory
• Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
• Work as an active team member to complete team goals
• Prepare documentation and inventory for audits
• Provide clerical and administrative support to various departments
• Other duties assigned as needed
• This role will vary daily, with a split of approximately 50% desk work and 50% working on the warehouse floor.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic to advanced proficiency in Excel and email
• Willingness to learn new tasks (including using our ERP system and gaining a basic to moderate understanding of our embroidery process)
• Shipping knowledge (FedEx and UPS)
• Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize
• Positive attitude and assist team members when needed to accomplish team goals
• Filing and fast and accurate typing
• Prior experience handling data entry responsibilities or equivalent experience in a related field
• Highly organized multi-tasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Self-motivated and a problem solver. Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
· High school degree or equivalent
· License or certification as dictated by the state to operate heavy machinery is a plus.
