Hansen CPA, a well-established, full-service accounting firm, is seeking a Client Service Manager (“CSM”) plays an integral role in firm operations, tax & accounting administration and client coordination. The CSM must understand the flow of work for the business line(s) they serve, including deadlines, processes, forms, and systems; applies this knowledge in their day-to-day activities.

u MS Office Suite including Excel (financial statements, billing and pivot tables), Outlook (Calendaring/Scheduling for individuals/support and for office events), Teams, Word (Engagement Letters, Mail Merge, Financial Statement Ribbon), PowerPoint (activity calendars, proposals), Adobe Acrobat.
u Canopy for Tax (CRM System) - Creating and updating contacts, creating marketing lists, tracking/updating of Opportunities/Wins, etc.)
u Wolter Kluwer CCH Axcess (Tax Software):
FIRM OPERATIONS | TAX ADMINISTRATION | CLIENT COORDINAITON
The CSC provides operational and administrative support internally and coordinates with clients to ensure the best possible experience.
u Leads reception, answering and client phone calls and email and office services, event, and meeting support including planning and organizing from concept to execution
u Stays abreast of important dates and deadlines and keeps their leaders apprised
u Diagnoses situations brought to their attention and connects with the appropriate firm resource for resolution.
u Supports the client billing and accounts receivable process
u Provides support for busy season including management of documents/supplies, meals, building requirements to support overtime hours, and employee welfare events
u Use common templates and software to produce tax forms, financial statements, reports, presentations, service proposals, etc. for the service delivery team
u Coordinates all activities related to maintenance, care and repair of office equipment and facilities, including technology
u Supports workflow by following up on assignments and internal deadlines
u Provides office and facilities support including:
u Coding and submission of invoices to accounts payable department for processing
u Approving and coding of office expenses, including supply orders
u Break Room Cleanliness & Supply Management
- Light accounts payable and mailing of checks
PRODUCING QUALITY WORK WITH SUPPORT
With guidance and feedback from more senior employees, the CSM seeks to limit rework by producing quality deliverables on the first attempt, avoiding negligent errors.
u Organizes work so that it can be easily interpreted by a reviewer or client
u Knows when to raise priority setting conflicts to management and seek guidance or ask technical questions, versus attempt to figure it out themselves
u Demonstrates an understanding of the context of their work
u Has a basic understanding of how the firm makes a profit and acts in consideration of how they can positively impact the firm’s profitability
