The Aquatics Guest Services Attendant serves as the bridge between the front of the facility, our families, and the pool deck. This team member is responsible for creating an exceptional first impression by welcoming families, assisting them throughout their arrival, and ensuring every swimmer reaches the pool deck safely, on time, and fully prepared for their lesson.
As the first point of contact, the Aquatics Guest Services Attendant provides outstanding customer service by greeting families, verifying check-in, escorting them through the facility, assisting with personal belongings when needed, and communicating with the pool deck throughout the arrival process. This position also supports the administrative team by helping resolve waiver and account issues as time permits.
Shift Days: Tuesdays, Thursday (4:00 PM - 8:30 PM) & Saturday (8:15 PM - 12:15 PM)
Pay: $13.00 - $13.75 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Welcome every family with a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Greet swimmers and verify they are checked in for their scheduled lesson.
- Escort families from the front entrance or lobby to the aquatics area.
- Assist families with swim bags, strollers, and other belongings as needed.
- Help first-time families become familiar with the facility and SafeSplash procedures.
- Answer general questions and provide directions throughout the facility.
- Deliver a hospitality experience that makes every family feel welcomed, valued, and supported.
Pool Deck Communication
- Use a two-way radio (walkie-talkie) to notify deck staff when families are on their way to the pool deck, communicating the swimmer's name, lesson time, and any important information so the deck team is prepared for their arrival.
- Relay important customer information, concerns, or special accommodations to deck staff or management before lessons begin.
- Help maintain efficient communication between the front entrance, administrative team, and pool deck throughout each shift.
Lesson Readiness
- Ensure swimmers are prepared before entering the pool deck.
- Verify swimmers have appropriate swim attire, towels, goggles, and any other required equipment.
- Help maintain an organized flow of families entering and leaving the aquatics area.
- Support smooth class transitions to help lessons begin on time.
Administrative Support
- Assist families with completing required waivers and documentation before participating in lessons.
- Help identify and resolve incomplete waivers, missing forms, and customer account issues in coordination with the administrative team, as time permits.
- Direct families to the appropriate team member when additional assistance is needed.
Facility Support
- Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming lobby and guest areas.
- Observe and report any safety concerns to management immediately.
- Assist with operational tasks and customer service needs as assigned.
