Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Powersports Equipment Photographer & Detailer to prepare inventory for display, photograph units for online listings, and help keep our showroom and lot looking professional. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys powersports, takes pride in clean work, and can work independently while meeting daily priorities.
Responsibilities
· Wash, clean, and detail motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, trailers, and related powersports equipment.
· Prepare new and used units for photos, customer viewing, delivery, and resale.
· Take clear, consistent photos of each unit, including exterior angles, features, accessories, mileage or hour meters, condition details, and any notable wear.
· Upload, organize, and label photos for use in online inventory listings, marketing materials, and internal records.
· Inspect equipment while cleaning and photographing; report damage, missing parts, cosmetic issues, or mechanical concerns to the appropriate manager.
· Apply approved cleaning products, polishing materials, and protective treatments as needed.
· Keep the photo area, wash bay, detailing supplies, and equipment organized and ready for use.
· Move units safely around the lot, showroom, and service area as needed.
· Support the sales and service teams with inventory readiness, lot presentation, and customer delivery preparation.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, high-quality work.
· Basic photography skills, including an understanding of lighting, angles, framing, and consistency.
· Comfort using a smartphone, digital camera, computer, and inventory or photo-upload systems.
· Ability to follow a photo checklist and maintain consistent standards across all listings.
· Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Good communication skills and willingness to work with sales, service, and management teams.
· Valid driver’s license preferred or required, depending on company policy.
· Previous detailing, dealership, powersports, automotive, photography, or lot porter experience is helpful but not required.
· Interest in motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, or other powersports equipment is a plus.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the workday.
· Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Ability to safely move, position, and handle powersports equipment and detailing supplies.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
