The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities and
frontline associates to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of all inbound, outbound, and inventory
management functions. This role plays a key part in meeting customer service requirements, achieving
productivity targets, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.

improvement.

Daily Operations
• Supervise warehouse floor activities (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, put-away, and
replenishment).
• Allocate labor based on daily volume forecasts and priorities.
• Monitor production flow to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment.
• Support the implementation of WMS/TMS processes and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensure warehouse equipment (forklifts, scanners, conveyors) is properly used and maintained.
People Leadership
• Lead, motivate, and coach a team of warehouse associates.
• Responsible for the effective training and documentation of all associates.
• Conduct daily start-up meetings and communicate goals, priorities, and safety topics.
• Monitor associate performance and provide real-time feedback or corrective coaching.
• Partner with HR and the Operations Manager to recruit, onboard, train, and retain talent.
Safety & Compliance
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company safety policies and customer
regulatory requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with all company policies, procedures, and code of ethics.
• Conduct safety walks, enforce PPE use, and document incidents or near-misses.
• Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
Quality & Inventory Control
• Ensure order accuracy through quality checks and adherence to SOPs.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Partner with Inventory Control and Operations teams to resolve systemic issues.
Continuous Improvement
• Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Participate in Lean, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Support data-driven decision-making and performance tracking through daily metrics.

Required Education and Experience
• Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED); and three (3) years related experience in as a
warehouse supervisor/ and/or lead
• Experience with shipping, receiving and inventory control
• Successful communication - written and verbal
• Establish priorities and multi-task
• Experience with material handling equipment
• Familiarity with Excel spreadsheet and Warehouse/ Yard Management Systems or Transportation
Management Systems desirable.
