Multi-Unit Hospitality | Nashville-Based
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support a growing multi-unit hospitality organization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources across multiple restaurant locations, while partnering closely with operations leadership to foster a positive culture, ensure compliance, and support the continued growth of our teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Human Resources partner for multiple restaurant locations.
- Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, coaching, and performance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage onboarding, new hire documentation, I-9 compliance, personnel files, and employee records.
- Partner with operations leadership on recruiting strategies and staffing initiatives.
- Administer company policies, handbook updates, corrective action processes, and terminations.
- Coordinate leave administration, accommodations, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and benefit programs.
- Support payroll and HR administration while working closely with internal accounting teams.
- Develop and deliver leadership training focused on performance management, communication, and employment best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality while exercising sound judgment and professionalism in sensitive situations.
- Help cultivate a positive workplace culture built on accountability, communication, and employee development.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Human Resources leadership experience required.
- Multi-unit hospitality or restaurant experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, investigations, and employee relations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Proficient with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
