We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accounts receivable, including billing, collection tracking, and supporting documentation.
• Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices, verification of expenses, and proper approvals.
• Process and post daily bank and credit card transactions to the appropriate General Ledger (GL) accounts and job codes.
• Update and maintain financial records using accounting software.
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Analyze financial statements and prepare balance sheets and related reports.
• Coordinate annual 1099 preparation and filing.
• Organize and maintain client files, accounting records, and tax documentation.
• Assist with financial analysis, cash flow management, and budget preparation.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support management with financial reporting and special projects as needed.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, management, and team members.
Requirements
• 2-5+ years of accounting and bookkeeping experience.
• Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal) – required.
• QuickBooks experience – required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data management, recordkeeping, and web-based applications.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. unassisted.
