Diesel Mechanic Job Summary

Our company is seeking a heavy duty truck technician to join our facility. We are looking for an experienced individual capable of transmission and differential removal and installation, clutch replacement, air brake experience. Personal tools required.

Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

· Diagnose and repair issues with air brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems

· Perform preventative maintenance

· Perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary

· Maintain a clean and safe workplace

Diesel Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)

· Valid driver's license

· Some welding experience is a plus

· Mechanical skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
