Distribution Associate (Madison, GA)

Location: Madison, GA (On-site)
Schedule: Fri–Sun, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr (Friday) + $19.50/hr (Saturday/Sunday)
Job Type: Contract (Temp-to-hire potential)

Overview

We’re hiring Distribution Associates to support warehouse and material distribution operations. This role is hands-on and requires a mix of forklift experience and manual labor—it is not a “straight forklift” position. You’ll primarily help unload 18-wheelers (mostly manual), with minimal forklift usage.

What You’ll Do

• Process customer orders (scan barcodes, pick cases, label boxes)
• Palletize completed orders (scan, retrieve, and place on pallets)
• Use RF scanning technology to process and verify orders
• Package shipments and verify accuracy
• Support dock/manifest work as needed (scan pallets, run shrink wrapper, etc.)
• Cross-train and assist in other warehouse areas as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Forklift experience and proven manual labor/warehouse work on your resume
• Comfortable with heavy physical work (lifting, pushing/pulling, standing/walking for long periods)
• Able to operate warehouse equipment and RF scanners (or learn quickly)
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 1+ year relevant experience preferred
• Ability to obtain electric pallet jack certification
