We're partnering with a well-established trailer manufacturing company in Plant City that is looking to add a dependable Shop Laborer to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping a shop running efficiently, and wants to learn valuable skills in a welding and fabrication environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keep the shop clean, organized, and operating efficiently by sweeping floors, removing trash, and maintaining work areas
• Perform routine grounds maintenance including mowing, weed eating, and general exterior upkeep
• Pressure wash trucks, trailers, and equipment, including preparing units prior to paint
• Assist with unloading deliveries and safely moving materials throughout the facility
• Learn to safely operate overhead cranes and other shop equipment as trained
• Help maintain shop facilities by performing basic maintenance and assisting with minor repairs
• Follow all safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment
• Cross-train and assist in other departments or shop areas as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Who We’re Looking For

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior janitorial or sanitation experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work outdoors and in shop conditions (heat, dust, noise)
• Must be able to read a tape measure, and possess computer literacy
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the workday

What You Can Expect

• $16.00 - $17.00/hr, depending on experience
• Regular schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm
• Mandatory OT on the 1st & 3rd Saturday each month, 6:00am - 12:00pm
