Dog Haus is seeking a hard-working, dependable, energetic Shift Leader. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to grow their career in hospitality with at least one year leadership experience.

Position Overview:

As a Shift Leader, you’ll play a key role in running day-to-day operations and lead both front-and back-of-house teams. You’ll ensure smooth shifts, great food, and outstanding guest service while upholding Dog Haus standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Motivate and coach the team to provide excellent hospitality
• Oversee shift operations, including opening and closing duties
• Ensure food quality, speed and accuracy
• Manage cash handling, inventory, and daily prep levels
• Train and support team members; uphold food and safety standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve guest issues in real time

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in the restaurant industry, preferably in a supervisory role
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1-2 years of restaurant or supervisory experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
• Knowledgeable of restaurant operations, including safety and sanitation practices.
