The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing financial activities within a small team of 1-3 accountants. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this position involves overseeing payroll and sales tax reporting, reviewing financial statements, preparing journal entries, and handling individual and corporate tax return preparation. The ideal candidate is proficient in QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel, with strong analytical and time management skills to support accurate financial management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll tax and sales tax reports accurately and timely
• Review financial statements to ensure correctness and compliance
• Make journal entries for various accounting transactions
• Prepare individual and corporate tax returns
• Generate client financial reports as required
• Manage compliance with relevant financial regulations

Required Qualifications
