Demolition, Excavation, & Site Work Foreman
Location: Honolulu, HI -- Field-based work throughout Oahu, with occasional outer-island assignments

We are seeking an experienced Demolition, Excavation & Site Work Foreman who can lead crews, drive daily production, and maintain organized jobsites. This is not simply a labor position. You will be responsible for directing the crew, preparing work in advance, coordinating closely with the Superintendent, and ensuring that people, equipment, tools, and materials are ready before the shift begins. The right person will take pride in accountability, planning, safety, and completing work efficiently without unnecessary surprises or downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct field crews each day.
- Coordinate demolition, excavation, grading, and site-work activities.
- Review the daily plan with the Superintendent and communicate it clearly to the crew.
- Stage tools, equipment, materials, and work areas before the shift begins.
- Ensure the crew starts on time and remains productive throughout the day.
- Track and report daily production quantities.
- Complete accurate daily reports and short-term work planning ("Think-Ahead") schedules.
- Conduct daily tailgate safety briefings.
- Maintain safe, clean, organized, and inspection-ready jobsites.
- Monitor equipment use and report damage or maintenance concerns.
- Communicate field issues, delays, and production risks to the Superintendent immediately.
- Minimize unnecessary downtime, rework, waste, and operational disruptions.
- Hold employees accountable professionally and respectfully.
- Train employees and reinforce company procedures and performance standards.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned safety and production targets.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in demolition, excavation, grading, civil construction, infrastructure, or related site work.
- Previous experience leading and managing field crews.
- Ability to plan and organize daily field activities efficiently.
- Ability to coordinate labor, tools, materials, and heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of safe demolition and excavation practices.
- Ability to track production and complete accurate field reports.
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and organizational skills.
- Professional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to identify and report problems before they affect the schedule.
- Willingness to perform occasional night and outer-island work.
- Humble, team-oriented, accountable, and solution-driven leadership style.
- Demonstrated ability, motivation, and capacity to successfully perform the responsibilities of the role.
Pay and Benefits
- Full-time, W-2 Employment
- Pay: $38 - $45 per hour, depending on experience
- Eligible for quarterly performance bonuses of up to $12,000 annually based on safety, production, quality, and leadership performance.
- Weekly pay
- Monday through Friday, with occasional night, weekend, and outer-island assignments as project needs require.
