MileHighCook is seeking skilled Event Chefs to independently staff private dinners, corporate retreats, and extended ski-week bookings in private homes, chalets, and villas across the Mountain West. As an independent contractor, you select your events and operate without fixed shifts or schedules. Each booking provides you with a comprehensive written brief including menu, headcount, allergies, venue details, and timing to ensure seamless execution.

Responsibilities

• Execute approved menus precisely according to the event brief and timeline
• Ensure allergy and dietary compliance verified against client instructions
• Maintain plating standards consistent with client expectations
• Uphold strict food safety and sanitation practices throughout service
• Conduct full kitchen cleanup and breakdown after events
• Communicate effectively with clients and coordinate event setup
• Manage transport logistics to and from event locations
• Provide a short photographic summary of event setup and plating

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in event cooking
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
