Converting Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Estimator with a strong background in specialty print finishing.

This is not a traditional commercial print estimating position.

We’re looking for someone who already understands specialty finishing processes and can make an immediate impact by preparing accurate estimates, improving manufacturing methods, and helping drive continuous improvement throughout our organization.

If your experience has been focused on commercial offset printing, digital printing, or general bindery, this position is probably not the right fit.

What You’ll Do

As a Manufacturing Estimator, you’ll become one of our technical experts responsible for determining how customer projects move from concept to production.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate manufacturing estimates for specialty print finishing projects
• Reviewing customer specifications and identifying missing information before quotations are released
• Determining the most efficient manufacturing methods
• Working closely with production, purchasing, and sales throughout the estimating process
• Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs
• Standardizing estimating procedures and improving costing accuracy
• Supporting ERP and OTView implementation
• Helping improve manufacturing processes—not simply maintaining them

Required Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who can contribute quickly with minimal training.

Qualified candidates should have:

• Proven estimating experience in specialty print finishing or value-added manufacturing
• Strong understanding of manufacturing costs and production workflows
• Experience with estimating, ERP, or manufacturing software systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments
• Continuous improvement mindset
