Monitor and verify compliance with food safety and quality programs.
Review and maintain HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and other food safety documentation.
Conduct routine inspections of production areas to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Assist with internal audits, traceability exercises, and corrective action programs.
Review production, sanitation, receiving, and shipping records for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate product sampling and laboratory testing programs.
Investigate quality issues and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Train and support employees on food safety and quality procedures.
Assist with third-party audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
Follow applicable State and Federal governmental regulations, including but not limited to HACCP, USDA, FSMA, PCQI, OSHA, GMP, and Health Department requirements.
Who We Are Looking For:
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented individual.
Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or food manufacturing required.
HACCP Certification preferred.
Knowledge of USDA, FSMA, GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety regulations preferred.
Italian language skills preferred but not required.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.
