Position Overview
We are seeking hardworking and dependable Concrete Laborers to support civil construction, site development, concrete, utility, and roadway projects throughout Northern Nevada.
This is a hands-on position working directly with foremen, operators, finishers, and field crews to help keep projects productive, safe, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, physically capable, and eager to build a long-term career in construction.
Key Responsibilities
Concrete & General Labor Support

• Perform general labor duties to support concrete, grading, excavation, and utility crews.
• Assist with concrete placement, cleanup, preparation, and finishing activities.
• Move materials, tools, and equipment throughout the jobsite as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Support forming, stripping, site preparation, and project closeout activities.

Utility & Site Development Support

• Assist with trenching, pipe installation, backfilling, and compaction operations.
• Support installation of:
• • Water systems
  • Sewer systems
  • Storm drain systems
  • Conduit systems
• Work alongside pipe crews to ensure proper installation and jobsite safety.

Equipment & Crew Assistance

• Assist operators and foremen in maintaining efficient project workflow.
• Act as a spotter when required and help maintain safe work zones.
• Support loading, unloading, and material handling activities.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Maintain awareness of equipment movement and surrounding jobsite conditions.

• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor construction work.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous construction experience.
• Civil construction or site development experience.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and construction equipment.
• Experience supporting concrete crews, utility crews, or excavation teams.
• Interest in advancing into Equipment Operator, Concrete Finisher, Foreman, or other field leadership roles.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding labor throughout the day.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, digging, bending, walking, and standing.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable working on active construction sites.
