Estimator for Commercial Construction. Floyds Knobs, IN

The Koetter Group is a family-owned General Contractor that services the Southern Indiana & Louisville, Kentucky market.

We are looking for an Estimator.

Project/Sales Estimator

3+ years Sales & Estimating experience in Commercial, Industrial, & Institutional Construction. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong negotiation skills. Experience in Design/Build concept and contracts. As part of the sales team you will be responsible for profitable sales growth, building quality business relationships with new and existing clients, executing strategies for new business, and achieving the same premium level of customer service we provide.

Key Responsible

· Writing accurate commercial construction estimates

· Prepare accurate time and material construction costs

· Experience and knowledge of estimating software

· Establish and maintain relationships and negotiate pricing with qualified subcontractors

· Establish clear lines of communication with customers, representatives and all other interested parties to assure accurate and timely reimbursement for work performed

· Contribute to overall team effort by working with design & estimating team members

· Excellent organization and prioritization skills

· Design and CAD skills preferred, but not required

· Knowledge of Pre-engineered steel buildings a plus

· Knowledge of Government work a plus
