Abel Personnel is recruiting for a full-time Clerical Receptionist for one of our valued clients in Harrisburg. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a company that values professionalism, exceptional customer service, and dependable team members.

As the first person visitors and callers interact with, you'll help create an outstanding first impression while keeping communication flowing throughout the office.

What You'll Do

No two days are exactly alike, but you'll be responsible for:

• Greeting visitors with a warm, professional attitude
• Answering and directing a busy multi-line phone system
• Assisting walk-in customers and visitors
• Monitoring shared email inboxes and routing requests appropriately
• Taking accurate messages and ensuring timely follow-through
• Supporting daily office operations through filing, scanning, data entry, and administrative tasks
• Maintaining organized records and assisting the office team wherever needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, or similar customer-facing role preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel experience preferred
• Basic accounting knowledge is a plus
