Role may be Jr or Senior depending on experience

Salary range: $75,000 to 97,000 per hour depending on experience

TPGI CPA is a full-service Finance and Accounting Consulting firm specializing in government and nonprofit consulting. We are seeking to fill an Auditor role.  In this role, you will work on financial statement audits at a federal government agency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain workpapers, risk and control matrices (RCM), narratives, and flowcharts to professional documentation standards
• Execute test of design (ToD) and test of operating effectiveness (ToE) procedures for assigned business process cycles, including walkthroughs, control documentation, and sampling
• Coordinate Prepared-by-Client (PBC) requests with control owners and track outstanding items
• Identify control deficiencies, draft findings, and support development of corrective action plans
• Prepare client-ready deliverables and status briefings; interface professionally with federal client staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in federal financial management consulting, audit, or internal controls
• Hands-on experience executing OMB Circular A-123 assessments
• Working knowledge of GAO Green Book 
• Advanced Excel skills; strong written and verbal communication
