Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, equipment, and workspaces using appropriate cleaning tools and methods.
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures and using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks that require heavy lifting and physical stamina to ensure all areas meet sanitation standards.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to maintain hygiene and cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Use basic math skills to measure, mix, or dilute cleaning solutions accurately as per safety protocols.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including respiratory protection use, during all sanitation activities.
- Document cleaning activities, chemical usage, and safety checks accurately for compliance purposes.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within industrial or food processing environments.
- Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and experience working with chemical agents used in sanitation.
- Strong understanding of industrial cleaning techniques and sanitation standards applicable to food safety environments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning tasks.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety regulations to ensure compliance.
- Competence in basic math for measuring chemicals or adjusting cleaning solutions accurately.
