The Cryogenics Applications Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based at Cryomagnetics’ headquarters in Oak Ridge, TN, reporting to the Engineering Manager. This senior-level role involves the design, configuration, and application of superconducting magnet and cryogenic systems. Product development for next-generation systems that meet market demands will be a primary focus. Other responsibilities include providing technical support, performing system diagnostics and testing, assisting with installation and commissioning, and collaborating with production teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to translate customer requirements into practical system solutions and contribute to product improvements based on test results and market feedback. The position also requires close interaction with sales and project management to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet performance and safety standards. Starting compensation is approximately $120,000, negotiable depending on experience.
