Mobile Trailer Mechanic

Louisville, KY | $30-$38/hr | Home Every Night | Take-Home Service Truck

Looking for a mechanic who knows trailers and wants to work out of a service truck instead of being stuck inside a shop.

This is a local mobile role covering the Louisville area. You'll be working on dry vans, flatbeds, and step decks with very little truck work. If you're comfortable diagnosing problems, making repairs in the field, and working on your own, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Be Working On

• Dry vans, flatbeds, and step decks
• Brakes, suspension, wheel ends, air systems, lighting, and electrical
• PM services and inspections
• Welding and light fabrication
• Minor Class 8 truck repairs (about 10% of the job)

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of trailer or heavy truck repair experience
• Able to diagnose and repair equipment without constant supervision
• Valid driver's license
• CDL is a plus, not required
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen

• Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM
