Dermatology Medical Assistant — Full-Time

We're looking for an experienced, personable medical assistant who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and genuinely enjoys patient care. If you have dermatology experience, know your way around an EMR, and want to work somewhere your skills are put to real use — from clinical procedures to surgical assisting — we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Room patients and document in the EMR
• Enter medication orders and discharge instructions
• Complete prior authorizations for medications
• Administer subQ/IM steroid injections and infiltrate local anesthetic as directed by the physician
• Assist with in-office surgeries, including instrument cleaning, prep, and sterilization
• Handle patient reactivation and follow-up calls
• Pitch in wherever the team needs you

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 12 months of MA experience in dermatology or a related medical office setting
• EMA experience strongly preferred
• Confident, warm patient interaction — you genuinely like helping people
• Strong verbal communication with patients, providers, co-workers, and insurance companies
• Self-motivated problem solver: you see what needs to be done and handle it
• Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure while juggling priorities
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and the internet; quick to pick up new software
• Professional appearance, dependable attendance, punctuality, and reliable transportation
