Registered Dental Hygienist – Full-Time

Accelerated Dental | Las Vegas, NV

Accelerated Dental is looking for a motivated, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. This is a full-time position, and alternates 4 days and 5 days per week, with compensation based on experience. We are a small (4 op) private practice in the Spring Valley area. Dr. Ressler provides comprehensive care to adults including implants, in-house crown and bridge, full mouth rehabilitations, cosmetic, and preventative care. 

We are looking for someone who is confident clinically, communicates well with patients, and takes pride in providing thorough, high-quality care. 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive single-column hygiene care
• Perform adult prophylaxis with some pediatric care as appropriate
• Perform periodontal charting and evaluate and screen patients for disease
• Perform scaling and root planing (SRP)
• Educate patients on periodontal health, home care, and prevention
• Take digital recare X-rays
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Provide a comfortable, friendly, and professional patient experience
• Follow all OSHA, infection-control, and sterilization protocols
• Keep a clean work area
• Work collaboratively with the dentist and dental team

Qualifications

• Current Nevada Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• BLS certification required
• Nitrous oxide certification required
• Local anesthesia certification required
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred
