Just Jump In Pool Care LLC is looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Swimming Pool Service Technician to join our team.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to learn the pool service trade, can retain training, takes initiative, and can eventually work confidently and independently in the field.

Previous pool experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is dependable, mechanically inclined and eager to learn.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform residential swimming pool openings and closings/winterizations
• Provide weekly pool maintenance and cleaning
• Test water chemistry and properly add/adjust pool chemicals
• Skim, brush and vacuum pools
• Empty baskets, clean/backwash filters and maintain proper circulation
• Start up and winterize pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems and chlorinators
• Inspect pool equipment and identify potential problems
• Troubleshoot and assist with pool equipment repairs and replacements
• Perform basic plumbing and equipment work
• Assist with pump, filter, heater, salt system and other equipment installations
• Install, remove and adjust safety covers
• Drill and install safety-cover anchors when required
• Load, unload and organize tools, equipment, chemicals and supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
• Communicate equipment problems, repairs and customer concerns to management
• Keep customer properties and work areas clean and professional
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a crew

Physical & Work Requirements

This is a hands-on outdoor position. Candidates must be comfortable working outside in summer heat and changing weather conditions.

Applicants must be able to lift approximately 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, crouch, carry equipment and supplies, handle pool chemicals safely, and perform physical work throughout the day.

A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required for employees operating company vehicles.

Experience

Pool service experience is a plus, but experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, landscaping, maintenance, mechanical repair or another skilled trade is also valuable.

We are willing to train the right person. Reliability, initiative, willingness to learn and work ethic are extremely important to us.

Schedule

This is a seasonal position with full-time hours during our busy season. Hours may vary based on weather and workload, and longer days may occasionally be necessary during peak opening and closing seasons.

Winter hours are limited/not guaranteed.
