Job Summary
Client is seeking an experienced Automotive Test Technician to support engineers with prototype vehicle testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Test, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, and repair vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
- Set up vehicles, components, sensors, and instrumentation for testing.
- Perform electrical splicing, crimping, and soldering.
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and OBD diagnostic tools.
- Perform functional inspections and system prove-outs.
- Collect test data and support engineers with troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support to other technicians.
Requirements
- 8+ years of automotive, prototype, or vehicle testing experience.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with vehicle instrumentation/testing.
- Hands-on splicing, crimping, and soldering experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- EV/high-voltage experience is a plus.
- ASE certification or technical degree is preferred.
