The Restaurant Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a positive dining experience for guests by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining smooth restaurant operations. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and Owner Operator, this role primarily involves weekday shifts with occasional afternoon catering duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Prepare food items following restaurant standards
- Take and accurately process customer orders
- Handle cash transactions and maintain correct register balance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and kitchen areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Experience with cash handling
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good time management skills
