Position Summary
The BDC Agent serves as the first point of contact for many customers and supports the sales department through customer communication, appointment scheduling, and follow-up activities. This position helps ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining consistent communication, managing customer information, and supporting daily sales operations.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, customer-focused, and comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email, and in person.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries.
- Welcome and assist visitors arriving at the office.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for the sales team.
- Conduct follow-up calls and emails with customers and prospects.
- Maintain accurate customer information within company systems.
- Assist with customer communications and correspondence.
- Support sales team members with administrative tasks and customer follow-up.
- Monitor and track customer interactions to ensure timely responses.
- Coordinate with internal departments to assist with customer requests.
- Maintain a professional and positive customer experience.
- Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service, receptionist, administrative, or sales support experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
