Aegis is seeking a machine operator to join our client's organization in Lake Zurich, IL. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
Day to day Responsibilities:
- Operation support – monitor machines, load and unload parts, perform mold changes, alert any malfunctions
- Quality control – visual & dimensional inspections, alert quality issues
- Material handling – moved finished productions, grind scrap for reuse, maintain accurate inventory & production logs
- Housekeeping & safety – help keep area clean, report issues, routine PMs
- Communication & teamwork
Ideal Candidate:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of machine operating experience – open to any industry but exposure to plastics would be a plus
- Go getter mentality – someone who is trainable, can take initiative and be proactive
- Ability to lift & move up to 50 lbs regularly
