The Music Therapist will deliver therapeutic interventions through music to support the emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being of diverse patient populations. Serving both pediatric patients and those with mental health disorders or physical disabilities, the therapist will conduct individual and group sessions within a multidisciplinary care team. This role combines clinical expertise with creativity to enhance patient outcomes in both on-site and remote settings.
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from a nationally accredited University.
Current Nevada State licensure of music therapy from Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH), through the Bureau of Health Care Quality and Compliance (HCQC) or eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
We provide Psychiatric, neurological, and neuropsychiatric care for all ages in the valley.
We are starting a new program in Music, Art, Play, Darma, Group, Family therapy, counseling, and Speech, Occupational, and ABA therapy.
