LEADING EDGE PHYSICAL THERAPY
Physical Therapist
Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy
Location: Lakeland, FL | Type: Full-Time | Reports To: Clinic Owner / Physical Therapist
About Us
We are a patient-centered outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic dedicated to delivering high-quality, individualized care. Our team is small, close-knit, and committed to making every patient's experience exceptional — from the first phone call to discharge.
We operate with integrity, treat people with dignity, and believe the way we work matters as much as the work itself. Faith and values are at the heart of how we run this practice, and we are looking for someone who will feel at home in that environment.
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled, compassionate Physical Therapist to join our clinical team and help patients recover from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, return to the activities they love, and feel genuinely cared for along the way. You'll evaluate and treat a caseload of outpatient orthopedic patients — post-surgical recoveries, neck and low back pain, and sports-related injuries across a range of ages — in a clinic where clinicians are supported rather than buried in administrative overhead.
We welcome applicants across experience levels, from strong new graduates to seasoned clinicians. What matters most to us is fit: someone who wants to do great clinical work inside a small, values-driven team, not just fill a caseload.
Who We're Looking For
More than skills or experience, we're looking for the right person. The best fit for our team tends to share three qualities:
Humble. You put the patient and the team ahead of yourself. You share credit, pitch in wherever you're needed — covering a colleague's patient, helping at the front desk in a pinch — and aren't worried about who gets the recognition.
Hungry. You take ownership of your patients' outcomes and your own growth. You don't wait to be told — you look for what needs doing, stay current in your clinical skills, and bring energy to a busy clinic day.
People-Smart. You read the room — with patients in pain and with teammates on a busy day. You communicate with warmth and clarity, handle hard moments well, and people genuinely enjoy working with you.
We are a values-driven practice, and candidates who share a faith-based or values-centered approach to life and work will find a natural home here. If that description fits you — and you want your work to mean something — we'd love to meet you.
