Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for skilled APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS to join our team to work at various multi-family sites throughout the Waco area.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs in apartment homes, common areas, and throughout the property, including unit preparation, painting, and grounds work.

• Complete move-in and move-out inspections and document the condition of apartment units.

• Assist residents with maintenance-related requests, including lockouts, and report property concerns to the Site Manager as needed.

• Conduct routine safety inspections and follow safe work practices.

• Perform general plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, drywall, and other maintenance repairs.

• Maintain the property's key and lock system, including changing locks as needed.

• Install and replace appliances, including refrigerators, ranges, and dishwashers.

• Complete assigned work orders accurately and on time.

• Provide courteous customer service and respond to resident maintenance requests.

• Perform routine maintenance of the pool, spa, and other community amenities.

Requirements:

• HVAC/EPA certification required .

• Experience in apartment maintenance or related experience preferred.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Ability lift up to 50 lbs. push and pull up to 100 lbs. daily, climb stairs and ladders and reach for supplies and perform overhead painting.

• Demonstrated ability to understand and carry out both verbal and written instructions and directions.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry.

$24-25/hour
