The Commercial HVAC Technician plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This technician works closely with a medium to large team of 4 to 10+ technicians and reports to the Lead Technician and Operations Manager. The role involves regular travel to multiple client sites, ensuring efficient system performance and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC systems according to specifications and blueprints
• Perform routine system maintenance and preventive care
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and components
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Accurately document service activities and system details
• Collaborate effectively with team members and report progress to supervisors
• Travel regularly to client sites to deliver on-site services

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial HVAC
• Technical certification in HVAC or related fields
• EPA Refrigerant Certification
• Expertise in HVAC system installation and preventive maintenance
• Strong skills in commercial HVAC repair and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and blueprint reading
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Demonstrated safety compliance and time management
