Employees regularly enter the interior of tanks to perform grinding, sanding, cleaning, surface preparation, inspection, and testing-related work. Entry into these tanks is made through a round manway approximately 20 inches in diameter.

Position Summary
Isometrics, Inc. is hiring an Industrial Grinder / Metal Finisher & Tank Tester to join our Finishing & Testing Department at our manufacturing facility in Reidsville, North Carolina.
This position focuses primarily on grinding, sanding, cleaning, and preparing welded tanks and fabricated metal components for paint. Employees also perform or assist with air and hydrostatic pressure testing to verify the integrity of completed tanks and piping systems.
This is a metal-finishing and testing position, not a production welding position. A large portion of the workday may involve using grinders, sanders, and other power tools to prepare steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components for the painting process.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable performing physical work, and committed to producing clean, high-quality results.
