Qualifications:

• Dental Assisting Certification required
• 1 year+ experience preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments
• Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish, beneficial but not required.

Job description:

• Perform routine dental cleanings and assist with operative procedures
• Take digital x-rays
• Assist in maintaining dental records
• Prepare examination/operative rooms, sterilize all instruments according to OSHA guidelines.
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)
• Help other areas of office when necessary (answering phones, scheduling appointments)
• Have fun and smile!
