Title: California certified electrician
Pay Rate: $30-32/HR on W2
Hours: M-F 10pm – 6:30am - Night Shift
Location: 627 Hazel St, Glendale, CA
Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances: Candidate will be working on an electrical team for the majority of the work day. The last few hours may be on their own.

getting assigned work truck
Accessing work order system
Replacing ballasts
Power issues on office equipment
Light troubleshooting
walkthrough sites to check critical equipment
License/Certification required: California certified electrician will be recommended not required
Must Have Skills:
Able to diagnose wire diagrams
Able to do light troubleshooting where needed
Able to do the procedures for lock out tag out
Nice to have skills:
Able to work on a computer
- Excel reports
- Complete projects
- Answer emails
Years of Experience: at least 4 years
Education: h.s. diploma, trade school preferred
Software skills:
Basic understanding of Microsoft office
Basic understanding of CMMS system
Interview Process: 1 round, virtual, panel interview (Teams)
About the Role:
As a Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:
•Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
•Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
•Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner.
•Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
•Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
•Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
•Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
•Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
•Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
•Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
•Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
