We are seeking an experienced, dependable and motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our busy outpatient physical therapy department.

The ideal candidate Prior experience working in physical therapy setting and comfortable assisting the physical therapist with care and daily clinical operations.

Responsibilities include:

* Preparing and applying hot packs and other therapeutic modalities as directed by Physical Therapist.

* Demonstrating and supervising therapeutic exercises under the direction of the Physical Therapist.

* Assisting patients with prescribed exercises and ensuring they perform them safely and correctly.

* Preparing treatment areas and equipment.

* Cleaning and maintaining equipment and treatment areas.

* Assisting the Physical Therapist with patient flow and clinical organization.

* Obtaining and following up on insurance prior authorizations.

* Verifying insurance benefits and assisting with insurance related requirements.

* Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a friendly professional environment.

Qualifications:

* Previous physical therapy or rehabilitation experience required.

* Experience with hot packs common therapeutic exercises and patient assistance preferred.

* Experience obtaining insurance prior authorization strongly preferred.

* Ability to follow Physical Therapist instructions carefully.

* Excellent organizational and communication skills.

* Dependable, energetic, and comfortable working in a busy outpatient environment.

* Ability and delighted to work well as a part of a team.

Hours: M-F 745am-430pm Every other Saturday 730-1230pm
