We are currently seeking an Automotive Electrician - (Auto, 12 Volt, Manufacturer)! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers in a growing truck equipment and manufacturing facility.

This position is responsible for installing electrical lighting and equipment, programming systems and components, troubleshooting possible component and electrical issues, and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately in compliance with Phenix electrical department and OSHA standards. Team members are expected to follow company drawings and prints, maintain tools and equipment, perform safety and quality checks, and collaborate effectively to complete projects on time.

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required for this position.

• Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear / PPE will be provided).
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders.
• Ability to drive a forklift with material or product.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work with any team member or department when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience troubleshooting and testing electrical systems.
• Experience installing electrical lighting, equipment, or components.
• Familiarity with programming systems or components.
• Knowledge of electrical code compliance in a manufacturing or vehicle-upfitting environment.
• Experience operating forklifts, hand tools, and power tools in a production setting.

Education/ Experience:

Previous experience in electrical troubleshooting, installation, equipment programming, or related manufacturing, production, or vehicle upfitting environment is preferred. Experience using electrical equipment, hand tools, and power tools is beneficial. A combination of relevant work experience, safety awareness, basic mathematical skills, and the ability to follow detailed drawings, prints, and specifications will be considered.
