Shine Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry is a privately owned practice located in Glendale AZ. Our practice was established in 2011 with the goal to provide the best patient care possible, while creating a fun and friendly environment for our employees, our patients and their families. Who We're Looking For

We are currently seeking a friendly, professional and preferably experienced pediatric dental assistant to join our amazing team! The ideal candidate will be a team player who demonstrates strong communication skills, is self-motivated and takes initiative to create the best possible experience for our patients and our staff. We are looking for an assistant who demonstrates the same values our practice was founded on; kindness, integrity and generosity with the goal of providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• • Provide Excellent Patient Care
  • Instrument Sterilization
  • Digital Scans
  • Obtain clear x-rays
  • Chart existing and proposed treatment in patient management software
  • Manage Patient Flow and ensure timely check-in and check-out
  • Set up instrument trays, prepare materials and assist the Dentist during dental procedures.
  • Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene
  • Proficient in 4 handed dentistry
  • Clearly and effectively communicate with doctors and patients
  • Maintaining OSHA/HIPAA compliance

Experience and Requirements:

• • In office experience as a pediatric dental assistant is a plus but not a requirement
  • A strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
  • Experience in treatment with oral conscious sedation and general anesthesia is a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • X-Ray Certification
  • Coronal Polish Certification (required within 90 days)
